Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Summer Owens. I grew up in Hartford, Alabama and graduated from Geneva County High School in 2017. After that, I continued my education at Troy University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and I have begun working towards my Master’s Degree in 6-12 English Education. 

After graduating from Troy in 2021, I started my teaching career at Geneva County High School teaching English for the 2022-2023 school year. I taught 5th grade at Brookwood Elementary School in Enterprise for the 2023-2024 school year, and I am excited to be back in Geneva County at Slocomb now. Go Redtops!
